Tired Of Paying Your Employees To Walk Out Of The Office For A Smoke?
Let's keep it simple today. If you own a business, or are a top level executive and you're getting fed up with smokers who take 2 hours per day to go outside for a break (that equals 40 hours per month time away from one's desk!), or losing productivity in the workplace because your staff is becoming sick (from stress and diminished immune system), I've got a solution for you!!
Here's Your Healthy Tip of the Day: Call or email my office and enquire about my Corporate Wellness Program. Find out how just 30 minutes, once a week (onsite at your facility) for an employee can help increase productivity, reduce absenteeism, and create an optimum working environment for you and your staff. It's cost-effective, time-effective and in the long run, will save you and your shareholders big bucks!! Enable an employee to quite smoking and they'll be back at their desk instead of outside the building, they'll be healthier (so no sick days claimed), and they'll be much more productive! And that's just the beginning of the program....
Be smart and get on the ball! Call or email today!

Change is Good
A dear friend of mine sent me this quotation yesterday. I thought I'd share it with the masses. It went like this:
Change requires leaving our comfort zones and plunging headfirst into uncomfortable situations. True, this causes some pain and discomfort for a moment, but it's the quickest path to generating long-term fulfillment.
Today, when challenges overwhelm you, keep going and know there's Light right behind them. ~YB
Here's Your Healthy Tip of the Day: change one bad habit at a time and you will benefit from not wasting your time, energy and health. Whether it's cigarette smoking, lack of exercise, poor eating habits, dysfunctional relationships or hazardous practices - get out of the merry-go-round of rote and stop playing a bad game. In the long run, you'll win, your health will benefit, you'll be happier and those around you will also benefit from your peace.

Acupuncture Demystified via The Wall St Journal
Acupuncture has long baffled medical experts and no wonder: It holds that an invisible life force called qi (pronounced chee) travels up and down the body in 14 meridians. Illness and pain are due to blockages and imbalances in qi. Inserting thin needles into the body at precise points can unblock the meridians, practitioners believe, and treat everything from arthritis and asthma to anxiety, acne and infertility.
· Arthritis of the Knee: Acupuncture significantly reduced pain and restored function, according to a 2004 government study.
· Headaches: Two 2009 reviews found that acupuncture cut both tension and migraine headaches.
· Lower Back Pain: Acupuncture eased it in a big study last year, but so did a sham treatment where needles didn't penetrate the skin.
· Cancer: Has proven effective in reducing nausea and fatigue caused by chemotherapy.
· Infertility: Improves the odds of pregnancy for women undergoing in-vitro fertilization, according to a 2008 review of seven clinical trials.
· Addiction: Often used to help quit smoking, drinking, drug use and overeating.
After decades of cynicism, Western medical experts are using high-tech tools to unravel the ancient mysteries of how acupuncture works.
