How To Be Successfully Healthy
Here's Your Healthy Tip of the Day: Want to be successfully healthy? Here are a few pointers....
- Reaching your wellness goals will inspire others to do the same. Imagine being someone's hero.
- Being an inspiration to others surely leads to greater experiences in life and the rewards that come with them.
- Make your wellness a consistent and persistent minful activity everyday. Find a way to keeping your goals in sight everyday. There will never be the 'perfect' start up day, nor will everyday be a perfectly healthy day...but we can strive for that 100% everyday!
- Don't obsess about yourself. Obsessive behavior is not healthy and leads to stress and mismanagement of health. That's why we have 'cheat' meals or days of 'cheat' exercise. Allow yourself to be human.
- When other people reach their life goals, be happy for them and express your joy for them. You would want the same. Successfully healthy people (mentally and physically) know this. Happiness comes from within. Jealous, envious and miserable people look just that...jealous, envious and miserable.
- Be realistic. Wellness takes some work. Make a plan and try to stick to it. If you're lost and can't figure this one out, call or email me and I'll get you rockin' and rollin' into a successfully healthy person.

Make Your Own Miracle
The following was sent to me and I thought it was just so good, I had to share it with all of you today:
"Miracles don’t just happen. We make them happen—when we have the desire.
At whatever stage in life this email finds you, know that it’s possible to want more, and to be more. But we need desire. And we need inspiration.
When we see other people doing better than us, experiencing miracles, it reminds us—on a soul level—that the Light is there for us too. If we perceive lack in our own life, instead of feeling jealous of others, we can choose to be inspired to do more, to jump to the next level.
And if we pay close attention, we will find that the people who come into our lives are not there by accident. They are channels for the Light, sent to inspire us to change. When we are open, they can awaken us to a new stage of growth.
So when the people in your life demand that you stretch yourself, don't avoid them—let them in. And let them remind you that you CAN do it.
Most of us don't like to be around people who push our buttons. We'd rather hang out with peers, because it's more comfortable. We might think we can't handle stretching ourselves, but we can. Sure, feeling the pain of our ego is not pleasant, but, when we stick with it and don't run away, we wind up doing what we never imagined we could accomplish.
This week, look to the person who pushes you out of your comfort zone—not to those who accept you just as you are. The people we really need to be with are the ones that say, "I love you, but you can do more."
Don't let fear stop you from miracle making. Miracles are waiting to be made right in front of us."
- Yehuda Berg
Here's Your Healthy Tip of the Day: There are those people out there (maybe it's you!) who do nothing but whine, complain, criticize and blame others for their own shortcomings in life. These people take no action to change and transform their lives into something extraordinary. These people are full of fear. If this is you, print out this blog today and carry it with you. Take it out several times a day and re-read it. Stop waiting for someone else to make your miracle happen, because there are no magic bullets. Only YOU can make your own miracle...so get on it now!! You will be happier, more fulfilled and satisfied, and you will be living your own dream!

Cleanse and Detoxify
I noticed that on yesterday's blog page, Google put up plenty of ads on cleansing and detoxifying. I am not a fan of colonics and do not support the habit of forcefully shooting water into the large intestine, only to suck the feces out into a tube. This doesn't detoxify the body, rather this procedure robs the large intestine and whole body of fluids necessary for homeostasis, creates constipation and heat, creates a high risk of damaging the intestinal walls which can create sepsis and organ damage and destroys the intestinal flora necessary to kill unwanted bacteria. At the end of the day, you might feel like you've 'lost 5 lbs', but once you eat or drink anything, the body's natural digestive process will take over and you'll be just as 'fat' as before. Colonics don't get rid of fat - period!
The cleansing process needs careful planning and consideration before one embarks upon this experience. A total health consultation with a licensed practitioner is paramount. Only a licensed healthcare practitioner can look at your total lifestyle: eating, drinking, exercise, past medical history, medications, etc - and create a proper detoxification program for you. What works for one person may not be ideal for the next. Everyone is different. I have a product line that I recommend to my patients should they want to rid their body of toxins and 'kick start' themselves into a more healthy lifestyle. But note: each and every individual's program is custom-made for that person's needs and constitution (even though they are all using the same product line).
Here's Your Healthy Tip of the Day: If you want to cleanse, detoxify or 'kick start' yourself into a healthier lifestyle or really want to get rid of the excess fat, seek proper consultation with a licensed professional only. You will achieve better results, and have better health in the longrun!
On a more personal note: thanks to all of you who wrote in about yesterday's blog. Here's a photo one of my clients took this morning and wanted to share!

Muggy Monday
Oh, it was a great weekend and now, it's back to the city and another Muggy Monday! Yuk!!!! So, what do we do about it? If you've played hard all weekend, take a break today. Get a manicure, take a yoga class, go see a movie, do nothing. If you've partied hard all weekend, then ease back into the program with some light aerobic activity, stretching and some weight training. If you plan on running or cycling outside on a hot muggy day, drink plenty of water and don't overdo it! Check your local weather channel for air quality in your area before any outdoor training session.
If you've done nothing recently and would like to 'kick start' yourself into a healthy lifestyle or if you've been doing your best on your own and would like to detox, cleanse your system or 'clean up' your diet, call or email me and learn more about my Online Wellness Program today!
Have a great Monday!

On Corporate Wellness
Let's keep it simple today. If you own a business, or are a top level executive and you're getting fed up with smokers who take 2 hours per day to go outside for a break (that equals 40 hours per month time away from one's desk!), or losing productivity in the workplace because your staff is becoming sick (from stress and diminished immune system), I've got a solution for you!!
Here's Your Healthy Tip of the Day: Call or email my office and enquire about my Corporate Wellness Program. Find out how just 30 minutes, once a week (onsite at your facility) for an employee can help increase productivity, reduce absenteeism, and create an optimum working environment for you and your staff. It's cost-effective, time-effective and in the long run, will save you and your shareholders big bucks!! Enable an employee to quite smoking and they'll be back at their desk instead of outside the building, they'll be healthier (so no sick days claimed), and they'll be much more productive! And that's just the beginning of the program....
Be smart and get on the ball! Call or email today!
