Treat Narrow Angle Glaucoma Without Surgery

Here's Your Healthy Tip of the Day:  I'll bet you didn't know I treat narrow angle glaucoma.  It is possible to bring down the pressure in the eyes caused by narrow angle glaucoma by the treatment of acupuncture.  I have successfully kept several patients from the operating table just by simple needling twice weekly.
Case Study:  patient presented with narrow angle glaucoma in left eye with a level of 35.  Surgery was scheduled in two weeks the day the patient arrived at my office.  I suggested aggressive treatment strategy of 4 treatments weekly for the next two weeks and retest the pressure the day prior to the scheduled surgery.  The day prior to surgery, the patient's occular pressure was down to 15.  This patient has continued treatment twice weekly for the past several years.  The occular pressure remains stable and no surgery has been necessary up until this point in time.  The eye is an extremely delicate organ...surgery should be a last option; try acupuncture first!
