Today, I did an hour class of Vinyasa (flow) yoga. Having mangled one of my knees dancing for hours in 4 inch stilettos, post physical alignment and acupuncture lent to a yoga class to strengthen, lengthen and relieve the swelling of the painful joint.
Here's Your Healthy Tip of the Day: Do some yoga. It's good for you! Yoga improves blood and lymphatic circulation. It helps rebuild nectrotic myofascial tissue, helps lower blood pressure, lengthens, strenthens and tones muscles. I don't do yoga because I think it's such fun, fun and more fun. I do yoga because it allows me to continue doing the other activities in life I love...but, maybe I oughta lay off the dancing in the 4 inch heels for a while.
