Very often, prior to a yoga session, one will briefly meditate on the intention of the day's practice on the mat. Peace, health, wealth, success - the choice is up to the individual. Putting an hour's worth of concentrated energy - both mind and body - into that intention reaps results in eastern philosophy. I find this to be true.
Here's Your Healthy Tip of the Day: Today, whatever you do with everything you've got - mind and body and soul - instead of placing the intention upon yourself, why not send those positive thoughts to someone who might need them? If you've got a friend or loved one who is in a conundrum of life and could use some peace or guidance, send your intentions to them in the form of peace and love. We've all got plenty to share....let's not be greedy.
