Whey Protein is Good For You

Every morning, I start my day's nutrition with a protein shake.  Some fresh fruit, greek yogurt, amino acids, greens complex powder and whey protein powder.  Why Whey?  Whey protein provides essential amino acids.  Amino acids are the building blocks of protein; protein builds lean muscle mass.  Whey has also been found to help reduce blood pressure, prevent tumor development, and assist with immune system health.  Whey protein is a more effective antioxidant than Spirulina (Nutrition, 27:582-589, 2011).
