Today is Election Day, and I don't know about you folks in other states, but here in NY, it's pretty slim pickin's. Ughhhh....New Yorkers suffer with a corrupt State Senate, professional politicians that turn and dance to what suits THEM best, like leaves blowing whichever way the wind takes them. We have an antiquated two-party system whose members bicker and back stab oneanother to the point where the inbred hillbillies running the Tea Party become more and more dangerously close to getting their claws into government. All of you should get out your history books and relearn what happened in Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy and let's not forget Argentina and Chile. If you don't know about the history of these countries, you should put down the silly novels and read world history. History can repeat itself....
That being said, I vote - therefore I have the right to complain and have an opinion. It is my right as an American citizen and very precious indeed. We live in a country where we all have the individual right to vote and every vote counts. Not every country in the world gives its citizens this privilege.
Here's Your Healthy Tip of the Day: Get out there and vote today!!! Have an opinion. Don't be afraid to voice your opinion. Fear and lack of discussion leads to very dangerous socioeconomic and political arenas.
If you vote, you have the right to complain. If you don't exercise this right, then just shut up, keep quiet and be a dummy.
The same goes for your health. If you have a condition, seek professional help. Take a prominent and active role in maintaining your health and do your best to stay healthy. It's like voting: it's your choice to stay silent, do nothing and suffer or get pro-active and be healthy.
....and that's MY opinion for the day. I'm off to vote now...how about you??
