Here's Your Healthy Tip of the Day: The above statement is all fine and nice, but without proper education, it is meaningless and empty. A fast and easy method of educating the public about the dangers of obesity is to walk them through a diabetic or cardiac ward of a hospital and see what obesity can do to a person. It's not a pretty site, but quite effective....there's nothing joyous about having to be wheeled around in a chair with an oxygen tank strapped to the back, or having both legs amputated because of a lifetime of sugary foods that led to a diabetic condition. Something to think about while reaching for that second RingDing...
