Stand Up For What You Believe And Be Heard

It's Tuesday and I told you all I'd be back.  After a long, dramatic, and personally draining day at jury duty here in Manhattan's Criminal Court House, I'm happy to be back to doing what I do best...helping my patients heal and making people laugh.  I did come to a valuable conclusion, though....

Here's Your Healthy Tip of the Day:  Stand up for what you believe and find your voice.  Just because a law exists on the books doesn't make it a 'good' law.  Have an honest opinion and voice it...you never know how many other people you will influence and you don't know the differences that could be made for more individuals because you have the courage to speak out for your beliefs.  Not everyone might agree, but that's o.k.  Better to have a clear conscience at the end of the day, no?

It's Friday!!!!

Wow!  I can't believe it's Friday again!  What a busy week it seems to have been!  Lots of fun activities outdoors planned and taking advantage of the beautiful September weather and the final week of the official summer season.

Here's Your Healthy Tip of the Day:  Get out there this weekend and have fun!  Enjoy the beautiful weather and take a walk at the beach, in the woods, play some games, watch a sunset.  Whatever kicks your sticks - go for it!  There will be no blog on Monday....I've got to report to jury duty early.  SO...stay tuned for Tuesday.  I'm sure to have some fun stuff to talk about after a day at the courts.
