A New Twist to Your Boring Breakfast

Ok, you've been drinking the protein shake with fruit, eating the quinoa and veggies, cooked oatmeal with protein powder and eggwhites...you really want those pancakes, waffles or challah french toast, but you don't want to blow your breakfast.

Here's Your Healthy Tip of the Day: Low Fat Eggos (or any gluten free waffle) that will blow your mind and not your belt size!

1 toasted Eggo
1 tablespoon of fat free greek yogurt
1 cup of mixed berries, or a cup of any fruit of your choice
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon flax seed oil

Preparation:
Spoon the yogurt onto the toasted waffle.  Add the fruit.  Mix together the honey and flax seed oil in a bowl and drizzle onto the top of the food.  Dig in!!  This is a low fat, delicious way to start your day.  Full of protein and vitamins and loaded with 'comfort' joy!
