Looking at the past two weeks' blogs, it's time to lighten up a little and put a smile on everyone's face. I had a most interesting and enlightening experience while on the elevator at my Midtown Manhattan office building. I'm 5'3" and standing in 3" heels places me in what I consider 'nosebleed' territory. Hardly the tall one to be sure. But yesterday, while standing a tall and straight 5'6", I found myself to be about 4 ot 5" taller than the 4 other persons riding the elevator with me. Wow! This might not seem to be much for all you long-legged homosapiens out there, but for anyone my height, it was an epiphany!! It was also really weird...I've always perceived myself as being way too short until I took that elevator ride.
Here's Your Healthy Tip of the Day: Perception can be deceiving....take that wherever you will today.
