I've always been fascinated how so many vegans are obese. Just whatever could they be eating that can make them so fat? I am the antichrist to the vegan as I promote animal proteins into a diet filled with fruits, veggies and the occassional piece of pastry. It's what makes for good red blood cell production and a happy camper. Now, I know my vegetarian friends out there will disagree with me, but we've always been good sports to 'agree to disagree'.
Here's a Fun Healthy Tip of the Day: read this article the L.A. Times published on the vegan diet. I thought it was amusing to read what a 'health nut' actually eats. In my opinion, they should just go for the cheeseburger! If you really want to eat well and healthy, email me - we'll talk!

You of all people know how much trouble I've had with weight loss. However, on my recent vacation, I pretty much ate what I wanted; my eating habits having changed in the past few months, I ate fresh caught fish, grain fed meat, eggs from Annie's chickens, fresh veggies from the local farmer's market and YES!!! in that one week I treated myself to not one but 3 fresh baked eclairs!!!! But remaining active, running on the beach, rock scrambling, swimming, etc... I came home 2lbs lighter!!!!!
