Another Day Ahead of Us

Yesterday was quite the busy day at my clinic.  It began early and ended fairly late.  On my way home, I reviewed the cases I had seen during the day in my mind.  I concluded that it was a very good day indeed!  Injuries are healing, range of motion in limbs improving, stress reduction, pain dissipation...and best of all--I received a smile, a thank you, a hug or a kiss from all my patients.
At the end of the day, I felt appreciated, useful, and had that warm fuzzy feeling of having done something to make a difference in another person's life.

Here's Your Healthy Tip of the Day:  remember to express some appreciation for those people you encounter who make life a little easier for you.  When the young person behind the coffee counter hands you that latte and says 'have a good day', don't just grunt and throw some dimes in the tip cup....smile and give them a cordial reply.  Play it forward.  Showing a little appreciation for others goes a long way.  If you treat other people like rabid dogs or ferrile cats, it will come back to you two-fold.
So.....be nice!
